| Dear Symphony Friends,
We are excited to celebrate our 10th season with Maestro Ryan Heller. Under his baton, the Symphony has brought musical masterpieces not previously heard in our area such as Stravinsky’s Firebird, Shostakovich’s 5th Symphony, and Rimsky-Korsakoff’s Scheherezade. Soloists from around the Northwest who perform with us have marveled at his ability to bring out the best of our orchestra.
Our 46th Season will begin with a Fall Concert specially priced at $10 celebrating Ryan’s 10th year with us. With the popularity of our Christmas program in 2011, we will perform the 2012 concert on both Saturday and Sunday to make certain everyone who wants to attend will have a place to sit. The Winter Concert will bring a spectacular pianist from Texas to perform Tchaikovsky’s incomparable Piano Concerto. Finally, the season will conclude with Beethoven’s magnificent 9th Symphony, a fitting conclusion to what may be one of our most exciting seasons ever.
